Tassnim started her career in 2001 with the popular television series Gharana. She has also worked in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
In 2017, she was seen in the film, Durgesh Nandini. Besides acting, she is also a fitness enthusiast. Her primary income comes from her acting.
Tassnim was brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She studied in a local high school. After secondary education, she got her first big break.
As she converted to Hinduism, she changed her name to Tanisha. It was during this time that she began to gain popularity in the Indian tv show industry.
She had a year-and-a-half hiatus before returning to her career in 2017 with the new tv series Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi.
