Rebecca Louise: Female Suspect Faces Trail Next Year For Killing Richard Ash
Richard Ash, a 57 year-old man was found unconscious in a New Tredegar house last month. Rebecca Louise, a 31 year-old woman, is the suspect in Ash’s death. She denied that she was accused of murder.

Richard Louise Ash Murder Case Explained
Richard Marc Ash (57), was found dead in a New Tredegar house last month. Rebecca Press, 31 years old, has denied that Ash was killed. She has also entered a not guilty plea to an assault case involving actual bodily injury to a woman. After Mr. Ash’s discovery of comatose in the early hours of July 17, the accused appeared at Cardiff Crown Court.
Police and paramedics arrived at an Elliots Town home around 12.40. Despite all their efforts, Mr. Ash was not found. Press, from the Caerphilly area of Trecenydd was later accused of murder. According to Wales Online, yesterday she spoke only to verify her identity and to make her pleadings.
A Cardiff Crown Court judge placed her in custody before her November 22 appearance. A trial will take place in January next year.
His father, Mr. Ash, published a touching tribute to his son after his death. They described Richard Marc to be a charming, introverted person. His parents were a blessing to my wife and I. Richard Marc was a wonderful person to know. “He was a kind man and that is how we will always recall him.”
According to a spokesperson from Gwent Police, a Caerphilly woman aged 31 was taken into custody on suspicion of murder. Later, she was charged with this crime and placed in detention. “At the moment, we are not seeking any other information about this incident.”

According to court testimony, she was also accused of murdering Mr. Ash and assaulting another woman that same day. Press will be on trial at Cardiff Crown Court in January for murder and assault with actual bodily injury. The 31-year old has denied the accusations of murdering someone and assault resulting from actual bodily injury.
She was unable to attend Tuesday’s brief hearing due to transportation problems. John Hipkin KC her attorney said that her trial would proceed as planned. Press had difficulty finding a barrister willing to take her case in the past year due to a persistent strike by barristers.
Rebecca Louise Press Trial Date
Caerphilly’s Press of Trecenydd was remanded into custody and the trial date was set for January 9, 2023. Jason Howells, the prosecution, stated at a previous hearing that “we consider this to be two to three weeks trial.” In the interim there are many statements and pieces evidence to collect.
