Patrick was a great coach. It was always a pleasure to have him as a friend and colleague at PCHS. His smile could lighten up any room, and he knew how to make people laugh.
You can see their growth as high school students. You can see them transform from being boys to young men right in front of you.
He was a great student and I will never forget his hard work during his senior season at Pekin. He was able to go places he never imagined. It was amazing to see the results of his hard work. He enjoyed the ride and the time spent in the gym together with his fellow teammates.
Patrick was a great coach for our children. They all loved him. He was the gentle giant that they all looked up too, literally and metaphorically. My son regarded him as a larger-than-life hero.
We are thinking of Patrick and his family during this difficult time.
