Keerthy Suresh early life
Suresh Kumar, a well-known Malayali film producer, and actress Menaka gave birth to Keerthy Suresh.
Revathy Suresh, her older sister, is a VFX specialist who previously worked for Shahrukh Khan’s production studio Red Chillies.
Keerthy attended school in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, till she was in fourth grade.
She went on to study at the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, before returning to Chennai to complete her fashion design degree at the Pearl Academy.
She also participated in a four-month exchange program in Scotland before finishing a two-month internship in London.
Despite her acting profession, she has expressed interest in “seriously contemplating a future in design.”
Keerthy Suresh Career
Keerthy appeared as a child actress in a handful of her father’s films in the early 2000s, including Pilots (2000), Achaneyanenikkishtam (2001), and Kuberan (2002).
She made her acting debut 11 years after Kuberan in Priyadarshan’s horror comedy Geethaanjali, in which she played a dual part.
Over that time, she was still a student and shot for Geethaanjali during her semester break.
In 2014, Keerthy had her next film, Ring Master, which she co-starred in alongside Dileep and was directed by Rafi of the Rafi Mecartin partnership.
She played a blind girl, which she described as even more difficult than her dual role in Geethanjali.
She accepted her first assignments outside of Malayalam in 2014, and she went on to feature in multiple Tamil cinema projects at the same time.
Her debut film, opposite Vikram Prabhu, was A. L. Vijay’s romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), which did not perform well at the box office.
As a result, she worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan in rapid succession, Rajini Murugan and Nurse Akka, as well as starring alongside Dhanush in Prabhu Solomon’s Rail.
In the same year, she signed up for her first Telugu film, Ramprasad Ragutu’s Aina Ishtam Nuvvu.
The film, ostensibly based on Rendu Jella Sita (which was also Aina Ishtam Nuvvu’s original title), was described by Keerthy, who would play Janaki, a “bubbly fun figure” akin to Sita, as “a lovely love story along the lines of the Ramayana.”
She recently wrapped filming for the art film Darboni, in which she will play a Kashmiri girl.
She also appears in Tamil films Paambhu Sattai and Nenu Sailaja, in which she portrays a poor Chennai girl from the lower middle class.
