All About Erin Angle: Jon Bernthal’s Wife

Jon Bernthal has had an amazing Hollywood career. Born in Washington D.C., Bernthal first became famous for his performance as Shane Walsh on The Walking Dead in the year 2010. His career took off instantly. In addition, Jon getting noticed as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe through playing The Punisher but his other roles comprised of Snitch, Wolf of Wall Street, Sicario and Baby Driver along with a few Hollywood big names in there too! In recent times, his talents have been shining in King Richard and The Many Saints of Newark which gave Jon another chance to shine, and lift his profile further up Hollywood’s ladder of success!

Jon has had both personal and professional success at the same time. Both aspects can be seen in his daily life as an student of the Moscow Art Theatre he graduated with Erin Angle. The couple has been together for nearly 10 years! Jon once spoke to Men’s Health about their meet-cute: “When I actually saw Erin it felt like angels singing. Erin Angle is from where?

Erin was born and was raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania for her nursing degree, and then went to earn her Masters in Anesthesiology degree from the University of Southern California in 2008.

Erin Angle’s wrestling legacy.

Erin Angle is part of an incredible legacy of wrestling. Her father Kurt Angle rose to fame after he competed in the Olympic 220-pound freestyle wrestling contest at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games with an injured neck! Now Erin continues that tradition while looking at the legacy of Kurt!

“Erin is an exceptional trauma nurse and has earned every cent she deserved during that time,” Jon revealed about Erin to Esquire magazine in 2018. She is a descendant of an athletic family with champion wrestlers, and she truly understands me. Jon continued.

Willie Nelson was instrumental in helping them reach an amicable agreement!

Jon and Erin got married in 2010 after a long time of dating before getting married together. Jon and Erin seemed to be inseparable! There were only a few minor differences during a Willie Nelson concert where Jon requested a song called “Always On My Mind” to bring Jon and Erin back to one another! “[Willie Nelson] played it perfectly! We soon became one again! The magic worked, and as soon as Jon returned home, the two were back!

Erin is a devoted mother of three children.

When Jon and Erin got married and began to build their family. Since then, they’ve welcomed three kids to their family: Henry, Billy and Adeline.

Jon Erin’s daughter is in an unconscious state.

Jon was preparing to start filming First Man alongside Ryan Gosling when Adeline who was then just two years old older, experienced an unexpected seizures and went into an induced coma as a result of encephalitis, which is an inflammation of the brain’s tissue.

When Adeline returned from her three-day in a coma and completed her recovery, Jon made sure to acknowledge Erin for being an incredible fighter in such an incident. “People talk about fake macho bravery but my wife didn’t flinch,” Jon said in Men’s Health. “What I saw in her was courage and beauty I hadn’t experienced before.
