Big Meech’s brother Terry ‘Southwest T’ Flenory?
Before building their drug empire, the brothers grew up on the streets of Detroit, peddling cocaine in high school.
During the late 1980s, Big Meech and his younger brother Terry created the network.
“At its peak during 2003-2004, the BMF was shipping hundreds of kilogrammes of cocaine into Atlanta, Detroit, and other distribution centres every month,” according to the US Department of Justice.
“The drugs would be delivered in vehicles with hidden compartments or ‘traps,’ usually limos.
“The cash would then be transferred back to the Mexican sources of supply in these identical trap cars.”
However, following a split between the brothers in 2001, Terry travelled to Los Angeles to operate his own business.
On what date did Terry Flenory get out of jail?
When the Narcotics Enforcement Agency captured Big Meech and Terry in 2005, their vast drug network came crumbling down.
The two were charged with possessing more than 500 kilogrammes of cocaine with the purpose to distribute, running a criminal enterprise, two counts of intent to distribute more than 5 kilogrammes of cocaine, and a conspiracy charge for the same.
Hundreds of their colleagues were also arrested, resulting in the seizure of millions of cash, multiple homes, and dozens of vehicles.
In 2007, the brothers admitted to maintaining a continued criminal enterprise.
They were each sentenced to 30 years in jail in 2008.
As Covid spread through federal prisons, Terry was released into house arrest in May 2020.
Was Terry Flenory assassinated?
Terry was allegedly shot to death after being released from prison, although this has not been confirmed.
Big Meech, his brother, is still imprisoned at the USP Lompoc in California.
