Taylor Swift Released A New Music Video For ‘Lavender Haze’

Taylor Swift has been busy practicing for her upcoming tour but she is still keeping the content coming! On Jan. 27, Swift released the third music clip from her.  The video was the opening track of the album, “Lavender Haze”, and it told Taylor’s love story in the poppy song.

The video opens with Taylor lying in bed next to her handsome boyfriend. She dances in her underwear and t-shirt as she awakes from her sleep.

Then she crawls through a living area covered in lavender flowers and steps through a tube TV into a galaxy of fish. It may seem a little odd, but it’s actually meant to be.

The most striking image in the video, and one that Taylor fans may be most familiar with, is of Taylor immersed in purple water. Her hair is slicked back, her lips are deep purple, and her body is completely naked.

Taylor’s past is documented in the album. Some of these sleepless nights were triggered by her relationship with Joe Alwyn, whom she has been seeing since 2016.

Before Late Nights was released, Taylor shared that she first heard the term “lavender fog” on an episode Mad Men She was then inspired to write a song about it.
