She was born on August 14, 1978, in Memphis, Tennessee. Tandi was an American Drag Queen. She was well known for her “Wonder Woman” performance at the Miss Gay Black America pageant in 2001.
The video became a viral Internet hit after being uploaded to YouTube in the year 2005.

Dupree starts her dance profession in High School. Then she was Co-Captain of the Majorette Squad until her graduation. Dupree first starts competing at the N-Cognito Nightclub in Memphis.
There she established original routines with other dancers in the area. Dupree’s Drag mother was Tamisha Iman.

Dupree died of AIDS in Memphis, Tennessee age 27 years old.

At the year 2001’s Miss Gay Black America pageant, her Dance partner Dee St. James performs a routine to the song “Holding Out for a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler.
During their performance, Dupree was dressed as a Wonder Woman, with St. James dressed as Superman.
Dupree popularly enters the version by dropping from the ceiling and landing on the stage in a split.
In 2009 uploaded the video to YouTube, there it went viral.
