Shanquella Robinson Died: Doctor Tried To Revive Shanquella Before Her Death
Shanquella Robinson Died: Shanquella Robinson was arrested under a warrant. A police report states that Shanquella Robinson was alive when medical personnel arrived at her Cabo vacation home, Mexico.
This report differs from Robinson’s death certificates which state that Robinson died within 15 minutes of her injury. An excerpt from a police report indicates that Robinson was dead for three hours before Robinson was declared deceased.
The Charlotte Observer provided excerpts from a police investigation that not released publicly. MetropoliMx first reported the details Monday. Robinson was a native of Charlotte and traveled to Cabo on Oct 28th. She died the next day.
MetropliMx’s report doesn’t indicate that Robinson suffered any physical injuries. Robinson’s family claims that she was suffering from these injuries prior to her burial.
After Robinson reported as dead, the FBI and Mexican police launched investigations. This prompted a worldwide outcry from many people who were closely following Robinson’s passing. The hashtag #JusticeForShanquella has been trending on Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.
The Charlotte Observer couldn’t reach the people on her trip. No arrests were made as of Monday night. Robinson’s friends claimed she had died from alcohol poisoning. Robinson’s family was skeptical. An autopsy report from Mexico revealed that Robinson had suffered severe atlas Luxation and spinal cord injury. This is a type neck injury.
The Observer attempted to contact Cabo police through social media and email but was unsuccessful. Robinson’s family did not return multiple calls or messages.

According to the police report, medical assistance requested at Villa Linda 32 By Cabo Villas on October 29th. Monday’s Observer confirmed Gutierrez was employed at American Medical Center. The hospital refused to respond to requests for autopsy reports.
The police report excerpt does not indicate that Robinson sought medical assistance. Family members, friends, and media sources claim that Robinson was traveling with six other people. One of the six is listed as Donovan. She had however disconnected her phone.

Robinson’s Family is Looking For Answers
Robinson’s sister Quilla Long stated in a statement to gofundme that the family would continue to investigate the incident and raise funds to pay legal fees.
Long stated that the United States State Department released a statement saying “no clear evidence for foul play,” but there is a video of Shanquella being violently attacked by a woman. We are devastated by this statement. We will continue fighting for the truth.”
The page had raised $354,422 as of Monday morning. This includes a $50,000 donation by Kyrie Irving, a Brooklyn Nets player. Robinson’s funeral was attended by hundreds of community members on Nov. 19, and her loved ones wore pink in her memory.
The horse-drawn carriage that brought her casket to the Macedonia Baptist Church was laden with photos of her. Before she was laid to repose, her loved ones signed the casket.
