She was raised by a young single mother in various working-class neighborhoods of London, where she was born.

Adele was raised by her mother after Evans left the family when she was still a child.
Adele developed an early interest in music and began singing at a young age.
She was influenced by the ‘Spice Girls’ and also liked Lauryn Hill, ‘Destiny’s Child,’ and Mary J. Blige’s music.
