Adele is an English singer and songwriter who has become one of the best-selling artists of all time due to her distinctive voice.

She was raised by a young single mother in various working-class neighborhoods of London, where she was born.

She enjoyed singing contemporary pop music from a young age and later developed an appreciation for artists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James.
